What a wonderful performance we had at our school's Winter Concert! I know I may be prejudiced, but I really think we stole the show! The pictures below are from the afternoon rehearsal. If anyone has some good pictures from the evening concert, I would certainly love to have them. You can email them to me using the "contact the webmaster" link on the site's home page. I've posted more photos on the site's photo gallery.
On behalf of all of us here, I'd like to wish you all a very happy, safe and relaxing holiday. We'll see you in the New Year!

There can be no better reason to want to write than when the letter's recipient is Santa! Our writing centre has been so busy as the children print messages destined for the North Pole. They're also writing to Mrs. Claus, Rudolph and Frosty. The letters are placed in our mailbox and we all KNOW that Santa's getting them because the mailbox is empty every morning! Exciting!!!
This morning we had two second year biology students from the University of Windsor in our classroom talking about dinosaurs! We learned that some dinosaurs, called herbivores, ate plants while others, called carnivores, ate meat. We also learned about fossils and had the opportunity to create some of our own out of plaster. They are all sitting drying on the counter right now and hopefully will be ready to go home tomorrow.
The fun is starting to ramp up a notch or two as we are busy making decorations and sprucing up our room! Click on the pictures to read the captions.
